Full-time reporter providing deadline coverage for national and international publications on the NCAA Championships, Prefontaine Classic, USATF Outdoor Nationals and the World Athletics Championships.
Conducted post-competition video interviews with athletes for distribution to national and international media at the Prefontaine Classic, USATF Outdoor Nationals and World Athletics Championships.
- Freelanced for national publications, including DyeStat.com, RunnerSpace and World Athletics.
Oversaw the SOJC Track Bureau’s Twitter during the world championships, tweeting out stories and updates from our eight-person team.
Media Appearances: Appeared on three local news broadcasts to discuss my experience with the SOJC Track Bureau:

- Think Out Loud, a daily public affairs talk show on the Oregon Public Broadcasting network.
- SOJC Students Take on the Worlds, a multimedia story published by the University of Oregon’s School of Journalism and Communication.

Reported on Oregon athletics for the local college station, including women’s basketball, softball, baseball, and volleyball.
Crafted audio and written stories on deadline.
Live-tweeted from KWVA’s Twitter during competitions.
Participated in the station’s daily radio show, QuackSmack.
